On the fringes of civilization within the eastern shroud, beneath the grand boughs of seemingly ancient trees rests a small and humble shop, far enough removed from the city to avoid most notice. Stepping inside, guests are immediately greeted with the smells of all manner of herbs and incense as well as plentiful lush and overgrown flora.Available goods include dried herbs, simple medicines and potions, candles, soaps, teas, and perhaps some substances for the more adventurous along with other similar items. Custom orders are available, as well as services to locate less common flora if desired.Down below the shop, there is a lounge where those may imbibe on offered substances should they choose, as well as a bar to slake one's thirst.We welcome our guests to shop, enjoy, and indulge.

Sage & Secrets is a shady, mostly unstructured establishment. However there are a few things expected of any potential clients and guests.
This venue is primarily for low powered, lore-abiding characters. Lore is flexible and no characters will be asked to leave for not following lore a specific way but please keep this in mind. We kindly ask that you not play characters that are the Warrior of Light or characters that either are or are directly involved with NPCs.
Due to the manner of RP this location is adults only. No one under 18 years old allowed, IC or OOC.
While situations revolve around mature themes, we are not a public ERP venue. Characters caught doing things that would get them kicked out of a real shop will be asked to leave.
Whatever you do with the things you buy is not our responsibility.
Voidsent business seen ICly will be dealt with harshly, we do not want the conjurers and wood wailers breathing down our necks. This is a very public in-character rule and it is expected that anyone visiting will know this.
You can carry visible weapons, though using them may have consequences.
Please keep IC and OOC separated-- IC actions have IC consequences. If characters are rude they will be reacted to accordingly. (Staff are not exempt.)
For those that enjoy extra-curricular customization there is a syncshell.
This is not and will not ever be any sort of mandatory.

Sage & Secrets' lounge provides a fully stocked bar along with a small selection of specials. If none of them suit your tastes feel free to inform the bartender or request something you'd prefer and we shall do what we can to accommodate your preferences.Substances may be enjoyed in the lounge area, however you if you would like to remain within our walls, we kindly ask that you remain civil even whilst enjoying the effects of your selection. If anyone's behavior becomes too inappropriate, they will be asked to leave.**The effects listed under each item are only suggestions as to how your character might be affected-- everyone reacts differently so feel free to use your imagination! **Prices are to give a suggestion for about how much each item would cost for someone with an average income, there is no OOC gil exchange required.

| Sun Drop | A bright golden-yellow capsule made from the pollen and nectar of various flowers with intoxicating properties to be consumed by holding beneath the tongue and dissolved to give a mild euphoric sensation and playfulness. | Fogweed | Perhaps the most common and well known substance, but generally not such aromatic or potent strains. Has a calming and relaxing effect when these rolled cigarettes are smoked. | Milkroot Sap | Sap of an ochu root that has been dried and compressed into a chewy tablet that can be eaten to produce long lasting and intense visual and physical hallucinations.
